History

Ivan Weaver Construction, Inc. is a family owned operation located in peaceful little Wayne County Village of Fredericksburg, Ohio.

Ivan was born and raised on a farm in Holmes County. He started his career in the building industry in 1958 working with several building contractors. In 1970 Ivan Weaver Construction was founded doing mostly residential building and some light commercial work. At the time the company was a husband-wife operation. Ivan’s wife Clara did the book work and payroll. The company was incorporated in 1976. As the company grew more commercial and industrial projects were being added. The projects included churches, nursing homes, hotels, restaurants, retail stores, and factory buildings.

In 1990 Ivan’s son Mark became a partner in the business. At the present time the company has 40 full time and a few part time employees. Mark now manages the company and sits as the  President of Ivan Weaver Construction, Inc.. The company specializes in custom design-build structures and pre-engineered steel buildings as engineered by Chief Buildings Industries.
